The featured member of the month started in 2002. It was created to bring attention to members who participate.  It is an aide in getting to know your fellow woodworkers.   The featured member is “recognized” with a gift certificate for their contributions to the guild.

In appreciation for the selected member’s contributions and hard work in helping to build a better Guild, they are awarded a gift certificate from one of our sponsoring members.  December is a special month, the 11 selected members of the current year will vote for one of the 11 to become the featured member of year.

This member will receive a $50.00 gift certificate from one of our sponsoring members. 

It is easy to participate in this program! Get involved! Become a contributing member, it helps the guild in many ways. It will make the monthly guild meeting more enjoyable for you and others. Show off your work; help others become better woodworkers; Each meeting talk to someone new about their wood working interest, you may find someone who likes the same type of woodworking as you and make a new friend. Make a point to greet new members and offer assistance to them and let them know about the Featured Member program. 

Our guild is a great organization thanks to its' members.  Get involved and let’s move our Guild to the next level.
