Capturing a Walnut Tree at Shawnee Indian Mission

Back Story:  Don Warkentien representing Shawnee Indian Mission contacted the guild regarding a fallen Walnut Tree on the Mission property.  The pictures below and the videos show, Don, Kevin Thomas, Bill Johnston (behind the camera), and Fred Jones of Cedar Creek Sawmill, capturing the tree and loading it onto Fred's trailer.  We unloaded the tree at the Guild's new home. 

Stay Tuned: At an upcoming event Fred Jones will demonstrate sawing the logs into planks with his bandsaw mill.
